Alfan Mbugi is among Tanzania’s young determined agripreneurs and social activists. As a member of Darecha Network (Done!), Alfan is personally engaged in agriculture and is passionate about helping youth in his community at Iringa town realize their dreams. In his early 20’s, Alfan has founded “Tujiajiri”; an organization which seeks to reduce and eradicate poverty in Tanzania through entrepreneurial education provision. The organization offers Provision of Multi disciplinary Education from grass root of secondary students to university and community in General, youth and women in particular. Through his entrepreneurial journey in agriculture, Alfan was able to secure a grant of TZS 10,000,000 from the ministry of youth in 2014 and he is now off to greater results.

The founder of Darecha has been featured in the in-flight magazine of Precision Air Tanzania. The article says,”Nothing ventured, Nothing Gained: At the age of 25 he has achieved much more than most of us achieve in a lifetime. Most inspiring of all,his business model is all about helping others to be successful.”
After successful investments in the real estate sector, Darecha continues to expand its micro-venture capital fund by investing in other industries such as agriculture.
