Mr. Ladhani, Nazeer Aziz
His a senior advisor of the Aga khan Development Network, Nazeer currently serves as the project Director for graduate professional education for the Aga Khan university in East Africa, which includes the Graduate School of Media and Communications to be based in Nairobi, Kenya. Prior to his appointment with AKU, Ladhani served as the director general of the University of Central Asia, unique, internationally chartered higher education institution in the process of establishing programs and purpose –built campuses in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. He was also the founding chief Executive Officer of Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC), which he led from start –up to a premier private international development agency in Canada. While at AKFC, Ladhani led efforts to establish the Global Centre.
Mr. Ladhani brings his expertise and many years of experience to the company.
Professor Kaijage Erasmus Shubi
Erasmus .s. Kaijage is currently a Barclays Endowment chair professor at the University of Nairobi, School of business in Kenya starting January 2011. He holds a bachelor of Arts, degree in Finance from the university of Dar es salaam , Tanzania. MBA (Finance) from Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium and a PhD(Finance) from the university of Sheffield, UK.
He was a dean of the university of Dar es salaam Business school (formally faculty of commerce and management) between 2000 and 2006. He was earlier the head of the department of finance and also associate Dean Academy for several years in the same Faculty. He has also been Vice Rector Academic and Acting Rector of the school of Finance and Banking, Kigali, Rwanda between 2007 and 2009.
He has researched and published in several journals and has three books including a text book in Corporate Finance. He has taught at various universities including the university of Dar es salaam, Sheffield Hallam university, the school of Finance and Banking, Rwanda at University of Nairobi. In France he has been external examiner to various universities in Africa.
He is the founder member of the Association of African Business School(AABS) and he served as the chairperson of the association between 2008 and 2009. Erasmus has served on several other boards which include the Jury of the Pan-African Investment Climate and Business Environment –Research Fund (ICBE-RF) managed by TrustAfrica, Dakar, Senegal; Global Foundation of Management Education(GFME) ; Board of External Trade(Tanzania); institute of Tax Administration (Tanzania); institute of Finance Management(IFM), Dar es salaam, Tanzania and on a committee of Deans Across Frontiers (DAS) of EFMD.
